We specialize in development of databases using FileMaker Pro. Completely new, fully customized solutions can be provided, or existing databases can be modified, updated, or expanded. FileMaker's new relational nature adds expanded capabilities for this important Macintosh tool. At this junction, we concentrate on Macintosh platform specific solutions with plans to port to dual Mac/PC status late in 1999. We have encountered special situations where customized databases were needed to operate businesses. The problems were either that no software to manage the type of business was available, or what was offered was too restricted in scope, too "DOS like," or cost a zillion dollars (Daycare operations software packages hover around $1,000 - 1,500; T-Shirt management programs are in the $2,000 - $4,000 dollar range; and Restaurant packages - usually small subroutine handlers, are in the $400 - 500 range per activity module).
Each database we license is fully customized to your operation. We will create and add your logos as needed, tweak and otherwise tune the database specifically to your needs. All special requests and expansions past the current level of these databases can be handled. If you need it, or can tell us what you want it to do, we will make it that way. Period.
You will need:
A Macintosh Computer (68020 or better, through G3)
Mac OS 7.1 or later
At Least 8 Mb Ram (depends on the System version, Mac)
Color Monitor (8-Bit, 13 inch or better)
A Printer (Ink-Jet is OK, Laser is preferred)
Hard Disk Space: Daycare 4 Mb, T-Shirt 4 Mb, and Restaurant up to 14 Mb
A Modem to support dialing phone numbers from the databases.
A Copy of FileMaker Pro 3.x or later
Aladdin Stuffit Expander to decompress files
