Sign In Sheets

The "Sign-In Sheet" is the primary daily contact with parents at the daycare center. Sheets print sorted by child's last name. Place sheets in a notebook at your reception desk so parents can write in drop off and pick up times for their child(ren). Use a magic marker to highlight critical alerts to get parent's attention like "EXPIRED" medical records, UCCI expirations, pick up restrictions, and credit status notations. Monitor all parent comings and goings to assure they sign in and out - failure to so can impact your insurance coverage and jeopardize state and federal pay attendees.

This sheet along with the caregiver Attendance sheets comprise the essence of billing and parent charges incurred at the daycare center. Maintain both chronologically to resolve billing questions.

Sign-In sheets are auto-generated only for a two week period based on the 1st Monday Date entered on the Contacts Menu (shown below). Due to the dynamic nature of daycare operations - children are always being added, going inactive, and record change updates are necessary. Plus, you can print out any single NEW child as needed during the 14 day period.

Entering the date 11/16/98 flushes all sign-in sheets to the new two week tracking calculation. Here, two buttons are used to determine which children to include in the print run: "All Children" and "No Afterschoolers." Afterschoolers are eliminated because they are not dropped off in the morning. "All Children" would be printed when schools are closed.
